It’s a traditional repast, made popular in England hundreds of years ago.

Offered is an afternoon indulgence or as a lunch.

English trifle

Cowichan Valley chicken, grapes, curry aïoli

Farm fresh egg, scallion mustard aïoli

Berryman Farms heritage ham, bell pepper Parmesan aïoli

Cucumber, pickled ginger, dill weed

Wild B.C. salmon, capers, red onion

Tarragon almond pesto, feta quiche

House-made sausage roll, imported mustard


Bergamot chocolate truffle

Strawberry lemon Napoleon

Peach vanilla pound cake

Lemon tart

Wildberry chocolate meringue

Choice of Orange Pekoe tea or coffee

The Dining Room Restaurant  

Combo Tours depart at 8:30am, 10am, or noon to include the afternoon Tea experience.

Once you purchase your ticket we will reserve a table at the Butchart Gardens.                     We will try for a window of  1.5 hours after your arrival time, allowing you time to stroll the gardens prior.

Tea Service is between 11am and 4pm  Reservations are first come first serve.

If we are unable to reserve Afternoon Tea due to an event or such at gardens, your tea price will be refunded in full.

We suggest these return times to allow you time to enjoy the fine dining experience.

8:30am - 1pm

10am - 3pm

Noon - 5pm

We have included mandatory 15% service fee for staff at gardens and tax in price.

You'll be given one of ISLAND TIME TOURS vouchers from your driver  and that's all you'll need.
